Where it All Started.

What do you do when you have 5 acres of barren land, a life of love and health, and a desire to bring people together? This is all we had when we met each other in 2013, and what it led to neither of us could have expected. We both shared a love of olive oil as part of our living healthy, which helped us decide to create Olive Crush Farms and make our own olive oil. Working with a lot of love, sweat, and tears we hand-planted 580 olive trees, that today produce award-winning olive oil. Our challenge then became how can we bring this to others and share the bounty of our efforts. We packed it all into a Jeep and began by driving the country roads on weekends to participate in local shows, letting people taste and buy our wares.

However, in October 2019, we had an opportunity to open a store locally, Olive Crush farms and Provisions. What started as a small crafter store that sold locally made olive oil in 2019, has become a store featuring over 25 consigned local crafters, fine foods, unique jewelry, and gifts. We were able to stay open and safe to support our community during the pandemic, selling local eggs, coffee, honey, and other foods. And as restrictions looked toward easing we expanded to create a unique tasting room where our customers could taste local wines, beers, ciders, and foods in a comfortable local “my place” kind of environment, earning us 2 awards for the best tasting room in Calaveras County.

So What Now?
The journey is not done, we are always trying to find ways to engage with our community to bring them an awesome local experience. Yet we are also humbled and grateful for the support of beloved customers, without which none of this would be possible, we thank you most of all for your support.
